I knew you since we were small kids.  I will always remember your kindness back then and was sorry we were not closer friends at McNary.  Bless you always and you will be missed by all.

We sat next to each other in choir and had a blast! Needless to say, our laughing and hijinx was not appreciated by Alice Rose Jones, even getting us both kicked out of class one day to "cool off". Coming to McNary from Waldo, it was apparent that the girls from Whitaker weren't eager to welcome us into their environment (and I'm not one to "work" just to be accepted). MaryJane was one of only a handful of girls from Whitaker who even took the time to get to know me. Sadly, I don't have many fond memories of high school, but looking back, it's the time spent in choir giggling with MaryJane that brings a smile to my face. RIP.

So many fond memories of the school years with you.  I recall running into you a several years back, and it was so nice to see you.  You were such a sweet, kind, friendly and happy person.  Thank you for your friendship.  Sadly, we did not keep in touch, but you were thought about often.

I remember when we had a sock hop in the school gym and they were playing Stevie Wonder's Very Superstitious. MaryJane stepped out there in her platform shoes and started dancing and everyone just stood back and watched. She could dance to that song like no one else. I recall thinking, Wow! She is so cool. Several years later a young man I just met at church asked me to to help him do a concert in the quad at Chemeketa with him. He said that a young lady from Chemeketa named MaryJane Munger asked him to put on a two hour music concert and he needed help. I was like, are you serious? I know MaryJane. I always felt like she had something to do with putting me together with the young man who soon became my husband. I didn't personally get to see her or thank her. Thank you MaryJane. You will be missed and remembered.

Mary Jane, my friend.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  I met you at Whiteaker Jr High.  We were instantly friends.  My brother was in band with you and I was with you in choir.  I loved going to your house and talking with you, your mom and dad.  There were so many good times with you my friend.  After school, we didn't see too much of each other but got back in touch again.  You were such a free spirit and totally one of the best friends I had growing up.  Miss you always my friend

I have lots of good memories of Mary Jane. Our moms worked together, and we were friends before we started school. What sad news to find out of her passing..but mostly I wish I hadn't lost touch with her. Rest in peace Mary Jane, You will be remembered.
